Before starting your practice, it is important to understanding why one showed up. Secondly, one should be aware off the style we are going to practice.
What is the goal of your practice? Are you willing to be patient with yourself and listen to your body and mind? Are you ready to begin and stop ? Are you willing to push your limits while practicing Satya?
In my personal journey, I learned to bear in mind my mind and body first then my practice. What does my mind and body need? What benefits are we searching for through which technique? Is it requiring simple movement, do I feel pain, do I need stretching or centering?
Considering, Harre (1982) and Stone et al. (2007) counseled that on average, it takes 4 weeks to develop stabilization. Thereafter one can, begin to develop different phases of their practice. A large percentage of injuries occur due to placing stress beyond the limits on the joints, ligaments, and muscles.
